Located on the stunning shores of Ko Olina on O’ahu’s rugged leeward coast, Mina’s Fish House delivers a relaxed but refined dining experience at the luxury Four Seasons Resort. Part of celebrity chef Michael Mina’s impressive portfolio (which also includes Stripsteak in Waikiki’s International Market Place), the restaurant champions a line-to-table concept with fresh, locally caught fish and seafood at the center of its celebrated menu.

Signature dishes include the Hawaiian Seafood Tower (freshly-caught crab, lobster, oysters and shrimp, perfectly chilled on ice), the equally delicious Char-Broiled Shellfish (brushed with miso butter, garlic and yuzu koshō), and our personal favorite Tuna Tartare (served with Asian pear, pine nuts and sesame). There’s also plenty of great-sounding dishes we haven’t tried, such as Seared Yellowfin & Foie Gras, Chili Miso Glazed Black Cod and Michael Mina’s Lobster Pot Pie, as well as a range of steaks and sides - including the only in Hawai’i Spam Fried Rice! - and a mouthwatering dessert card that includes island classics like Shave Ice and Malasadas.

Perhaps the most famous item on Mina’s menu though can be found on the drinks card. The ‘If Can, Can! If No Can, No Can!’ - essentially a Mai Tai in a Spam can - takes its name from a well known Pidgin phrase, translating roughly as ‘If it’s possible, that’s great. And if it’s not, that’s okay too’. Something of an Instagram celebrity, this cool take on the classic Hawaiian cocktail heads a carefully curated drinks menu that perfectly complements the cuisine.

Serving daily from 16:00 until 21:00 (the bar remains open until 23:00), the restaurant’s contemporary deign seamlessly connects inside and out, offering guests a unique beachside dining experience, even by Hawaiian standards. Testament to the quality and freshness of its fare, Mina’s even employs Fish Sommeliers to walk diners through their selections and provide engaging and educational insights on the catch of the day.
