Overlooking Waikiki Beach, with spectacular views of Diamond Head crater, the Sheraton Resort provides first-class facilities for both business and pleasure.

Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort

Built in 1971, the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort is perfectly positioned to enjoy the very best of Honolulu. Located on arguably the finest stretch of Waikiki Beach, adjacent to The Royal Hawaiian, this modern, four star hotel has 31 floors, 1636 rooms and suites, 2 pool areas and a choice of dining options for guests to enjoy, including the award-winning Asian fusion restaurant RumFire.

The Sheraton has recently completed a multimillion dollar renovation to its guest rooms, suites and communal spaces, making significant upgrades to both functionality and aesthetics. Rooms are thoughtfully designed and contemporary in style with a color palette that reflects the hotel’s oceanfront setting. Spa-like bathrooms, ergonomic workstations and high-speed WiFi come as standard, and the unique architecture of the Sheraton, with its curvilinear wings and relative seclusion, ensures that 80% of rooms here are afforded breathtaking ocean views. But don’t worry if you’re in one of the 20% that don’t look out to an endless vista of vivid turquoise, cobalt and teal, city views with the majestic Ko’olau Mountains as a backdrop, are also unforgettable, and there’s plenty of other spots throughout the hotel to enjoy those dreamy Pacific Ocean panoramas.

In addition to the aforementioned RumFire (open daily for dinner 16:30 until 23:00), dining options at the Sheraton include Kai Market - a casual, open air breakfast restaurant open daily from 06:30 until 10:30, and the popular Edge of Waikiki - a beachfront bar serving island-inspired American cuisine and signature cocktails in a cordial atmosphere from 11:00 until 20:00. The hotel is also part of the ‘Stay at One, Dine at All’ program which allows Sheraton guests to dine at the bars and restaurants of partner hotels - The Royal Hawaiian, Moana Surfrider and Sheraton Princess Kaiulani - and sign the check to their room.

One of the Sheraton’s best-reviewed facilities are its pools. Guests with children heap particular praise on the hotel’s Helumoa Playground pool with its water slides, whirlpools and interactive fountain area. Perfect for families, kids can splash away to their heart’s content here whilst mom and dad enjoy the relative peace of a poolside lounger or luxury cabana. The second pool area, adult-only The Edge, is the longest ocean-view infinity pool in North America, and probably the hotel’s most photographed feature. Views of the Pacific and out towards Diamond Head are stunning, and witnessing at least one sunset from this choice position during your stay is an absolute must.

Although perhaps a little intimidating at first on account of its sheer size, vast lobby area, multiple retail outlets, etc, the business and family-friendly Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort is an ideal hotel base from which to explore everything that Waikiki (and the wider city of Honolulu) has to offer…
