Opened in 2012 and designed around its spectacular vista - with a carefully configured, spacious interior, oceanfront terrace and floor to ceiling windows - 53 By The Sea places quality ingredients, seasonality and sustainability at the heart of its food philosophy.

Described as Hawaiian regional cuisine, the menu centers on speciality seafood and premium cuts of meat, with ample vegetarian options also available at each course. Sample appetizers include Ahi Tartare, Pork Belly Salad and the famous Seafood Sharing Platter, whilst the list of entrées range from Crab Stuffed Maine Lobster to Hawaiian Rose Veal Bolognese and Pan Seared Ribeye Steak. The locally-caught Catch of the Day remains ever-popular with diners, and those with a sweet tooth can do much worse than devouring any of 53 By The Sea’s delectable desserts, which include island favorites such as Kona Coffee Crème Brûlée, Pineapple Shave Ice and Ube Macademia Nut Cake. Guests can choose to dine à la carte or opt instead for the chef’s five course tasting menu (available with or without wine pairings), and the restaurant’s knowledgable, attentive staff serve only to enhance the dining experience.

Located in Honolulu’s vibrant Kaka’ako neighborhood and housed in a picturesque building, 53 By The Sea’s chic, sophisticated interior is in keeping with its superior food and service.
